Application field

①Disinfection and sterilization of medical equipment

2% glutaraldehyde (alkaline, acid, neutral) can be used for disinfection and sterilization of various medical devices that are not afraid of moisture. Immerse the clean and dry instruments in the glutaraldehyde aqueous solution at room temperature for 30 minutes to achieve sterilization for more than 10 hours.

No matter what kind of preparation, you need to add 0.5% sodium nitrite as a preservative before use, but once added the preservative can only be stored for 1 month, alkaline glutaraldehyde can only be used continuously for 1-2 weeks.

②Disinfection and sterilization of endoscope

Glutaraldehyde Glutaraldehyde is the drug of choice for endoscope disinfection. At present, endoscopes are widely used and various types, and the precision of manufacturing has reached a new level, but the requirements for disinfection and sterilization are also increasing. Many components of modern endoscopes are not resistant to high temperature and are afraid of corrosion. Therefore, most endoscopes are sterilized or sterilized with glutaraldehyde. Sterilization: There is only one immersion method.
